This week went slow AND fast at the same time. Does anyone else feel like that? One part of me is saying “thank goodness the weekend is here!” the other part of me is saying “I can’t believe it’s Friday!”
Things of note this week are completing a big project for one of my nutrition courses, feeling as though I had a little extra time away from school work to complete blog stuff and work on some other projects, and tonight Brian and I are headed to hang out with some friends 🙂
I hope you all had a wonderful week!
Five Things I Ate:
Smoothie bowl: frozen spinach, frozen banana, raw cacao powder, hemp protein, coconut milk, blended and topped with peanut butter banana, strawberry and cinnamon. (I was freezing the entire time I ate this…but it was so good!)
I picked up the most adorable eggplants at the farmers market for a low FODMAP version of my slow cooker ratatouille. I also added some lentils 🙂
Delicata squash! Rub a bit of coconut oil on the inside, sprinkle with sea salt and roast with the open side down at 425 for about 20 minutes. So delish (maybe one of my favorite winter squashes!)
Smoothie bowl, but in a peanut butter jar that was empty 🙂
Five Workouts:
Taught Bodypump (launching the new release next week!)
Running (next week is the marathon….)
CXWORX
Walking and stretching (prepping for the marathon!)
This studio had it’s grand opening last week, so they are VERY new to the area. The class was absolutely amazing. We focused on high intensity cardio paired with strength exercises using the barre, bodyweight and resistance band. Such a good and fun workout!
Five Things Making Me Happy:
This image…no it’s not Bernie, but all vizslas are very similar and I just think this pic is adorable 🙂
I’m not quite ready for Christmas yet, but when I think about it I’m getting really excited!! (yes, I am 5 years old on the inside…)
Brian’s mom tagged me in a post with this shirt on facebook. I may just have to get it 🙂
Feeling pretty on track with school work! For a minute I honestly felt like I was drowning, but right now I am feeling pretty good with everything 🙂
Cooking! I feel like I have been whipping up some fun and tasty things to eat lately and I am bursting at the seams to share them all with you!
Getting together with friends tonight! Can’t wait!
