Happy Monday!

Today marks the start to my official last week of work before Brian and I move to Denver. Honestly, though it doesn’t really FEEL like it’s my last week of work. I don’t know what it should feel like, but it feels just like any other work week!
To rewind a bit, I’m going to share some pics from our weekend with you. The weekend was family filled (Deal AND Rochford style) and so so great. I hope yours was amazing too and that you are re-energized and ready for an amazing work week!
Saturday morning I enjoyed my first bowl of overnight oats in who knows how long…so delicious! And that dollop of PB…totally makes the meal 😉
Mom and I watching the Three Rivers Festival Parade in my home town.
Mom and Kenny watching the parade.
Had to take a picture of the bag pipers for Brian 🙂
Hitting up the Barr Street Farmer’s Market.
Picked up some tasty finds: The BIGGEST and most delicious blueberries I have ever seen, nasturtium flowers (edible!), and Death by Lavender deoderant.
My first ever hot dog eating contest.
After a morning and afternoon of the parade, festival, and farmers market I got my baking hat on but we were out of cinnamon. Mom had cinnamon sticks so I tried several different methods to grind some sticks up…
Using a grater…did not work.
Also the food processor did not work…
The coffee grinder? The perfect solution!
It was actually kind of fun to make my own ground cinnamon 🙂
Sunday morning I hit the road back down to Indy to help Brian and his family paint lots of furniture for our new Denver apartment!
It’s going to look so great!
Brian is his brand new Indiana Colorado T-shirt 🙂 I think he’s obsessed and will never wear another shirt!
What did you do this weekend? Any fun summer festivals? Fun fitness classes or food experiments?
Brian and I have lots going on these next few weeks so I am going to try to keep my blogging schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Friday…SO I’ll see ya Wednesday!!
Based on this post, here are a few similar ones you should check out.

Glad you had a good weekend! I ran the 5K that morning but didn’t stick around for the festival. I did peruse Barr Street, though, as I had parked by there. The sunflowers were so gorgeous!
The sunflowers were so beautiful! If we didn’t have to have the flowers sit in the car for a while I totally would have grabbed some 🙂 I hope you had an amazing race!
Two of my BEST friends just recently moved to Denver 🙂 Well, in like June. They are an amazing couple, and I love them dearly! You will LOVE Denver, it is BEAUTIFUL and there are a billion active things to do! So jealous!
Awesome! What part of Denver are they living in? If you come visit them, you’ll have to let me know!
So fun! I haven’t had oatmeal in about 5 months… craziness but I totally don’t crave it! You are moving sooo soon. How exciting! Can’t wait to hear about all the fun things you discover in Denver, I’ve always wanted to visit!
Right after the Whole 30 I was a little nervous to have oats regularly, but then I realized that my nerves were getting the best of me and oats were one of my favorite things to eat before the Whole 30. I started eating them regularly and paying attention to how I felt and I felt great! 🙂 If you DO come visit Denver let me know…I’d love to meet ya!
I can’t believe your already moving to Denver. I feel like you just announced this exciting news the other day! Glad y’all had such a fun weekend. I bet your parents are going to miss y’all so much. At least they have a new city to visit 🙂
I know! It’s getting closer and closer!
