Scenes from the Weekend
Happy Monday, friends!
I hope your weekend was great 🙂  Here is a little peak into some fun things we did this weekend.
Upstairs Circus
This weekend, Brian and I had a little date night on Friday at a new-to-us place called Upstairs Circus.
Basically, Upstairs Circus is a venue that serves fun drinks and provides instructions and supplies for people to create amazing crafts.  The cocktails are delicious and the crafts were JUST challenging enough to make you feel really proud of your work at the end 🙂
Brian made a dog collar for Bernie out of leather, and I made a leather wristlet!

It was really fun, and I think it would be a great place to go back to with a group or visitors from out of town.
Yoga
On Saturday Brian and I took a HOT (really hot) yoga class followed by a yin class. Â The peaceful yin class was seriously the perfect thing after an intense hot practice. Â After class, we both felt very “zen.”
Walks (and a run!) with Bernie
While I hope all of you out on the East coast are safe and were not too affected by the storm, I have to share that the weather here in Denver was so sunny and gorgeous. Â Brian and I made sure to take advantage of the weather by getting outside with Bernie quite a bit.
Cooked a New-To-Us Recipe
The past few Saturdays, Brian and I have cooked up a new to us recipe so we followed through with the tradition this Saturday as well. Â While the stuffed plantains tasted amazing, I forgot to snap a pic! Take my word though, they were scrumptious!
Black Eye Coffee
On Saturday, Brian and I went out to a new-to-us coffee shop with friends for a mid-morning pick me up prior to getting some errands done. Â The almond milk latte was delicious, the decor was so fun and “Gatsby” and the company was amazing!
So, in a nutshell that was kind of our weekend!

We got tons of snow! Luckily we were able to get out and go house hunting (Dan’s not afraid of any bad conditions luckily..I’m a pansy!) and now we’re thinking of putting in an offer on a house 🙂

What a fun weekend! That Upstairs Circus place looks so fun. I wonder if they have other locations? I’m in NY so we had a ton of snow, but still a fun weekend!
