Typical Morning and the Rockefeller Christmas Tree

This morning started as a pretty typical morning for me, at the gym!

Today, I completed Workout B from the third phase of Tina’s Best Body Boot Camp and boy oh boy are those burpees killer!  This phase of the workout is a true circuit style boot camp, and each circuit includes LOTS of burpees.  I love that by the end of the workout I literally have sweat dripping from every inch of my body.  Lots of sweat=a good workout in my book 😉

The burpees dominate me:

After my workout, I had a bit of an unfortunate event.  My water bottle broke.  The little tab that you place your finger on to lift up the straw sucker part just broke right off.

Now, I have had this water bottle for about seven months and I use it nearly every day.  I am completely fine with purchasing a new Camelback water bottle that is the same as this broken one, but if any of you have a really great water bottle recommendation I would appreciate the advice!

After my workout, I showered up at the gym and headed to Starbucks to enjoy my overnight oats and a tall skinny peppermint mocha as I wrote up this post!  I must admit, these skinny peppermint mochas are my guilty pleasure this holiday season.  So good!

Now, it is time to head out to work and I am hoping that the day flies by.

Tonight, is the lighting of the Rockefeller Christmas tree and I can’t wait to watch it!  This year, the tree is an 80 foot Norway Spruce that came from 80 miles outside of the city in Flanders, NJ.  Somehow, this giant and beautiful tree survived Sandy!  I think I read that there will be around 30,000 lights on the tree.  Now, that is bright!

A couple of years ago, Brian and I were lucky enough to go to New York City the week before Christmas.  We got to see the Rockettes perform their Christmas Spectacular, we saw Elf on Broadway, but the thing that I wanted to do most was see the Rockefeller Christmas tree all lit up.

It was amazing!

Are you planning on watching the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting?

What kind of water bottle do you like to use on a daily basis, I am in the market for a new bottle and need help selecting the best one!

  1. I look forward to the tree lighting every year! It was a dream of mine to see that glorious lit-up tree in person which I was able to do a few years ago as well with my best friend. Words cannot describe how magnificent it is. The next holiday show I am looking forward to is the Victoria’s Secret fashion show!
