The “Good Life” Holiday Challenge

Is anyone else completely shocked that Thanksgiving is really next week?  Well, even if you aren’t I am.   I am completely in love with the holiday season, and I love absolutely everything about it.

The people, the happy spirit in the air, the crafts, the giving of gifts, the traditions, and yes the food.

That being said, sometimes I do get a little caught up with the fact that I take in way more sugar and refined carbohydrates (aka white flour) than usual and I don’t enjoy things as much as I should.  Don’t get me wrong, I love baking cookies, sampling treats, and just being in the moment but sometimes I can let my mind get the best of me.

Last week, I saw Clare post about the “Good Life” Challenge hosted by Jamie Mendell (formerly Studio Eats) and I was extremely intrigued.

The Good Life Challenge

I truly believe that mental health is just as important as physical health, and I KNOW I can take more time to “stop and smell the roses” rather than focusing on my schedule for the day, when I will fit a workout in, and whether or not I can prep my food for the week.

Sometimes I need to just take a break and LIVE….and that’s what this challenge is all about.

Jamie has designed an amazing and FREE holiday challenge that won’t have us counting calories or hitting the gym.  I don’t need a challenge for that.

Jamie’s “Good Life” Holiday Challenge will provide us with guidance and small daily challenges from Thanksgiving to New Years that will help us soak up the full and happy lives we are living.

I’m so excited to be a part of this challenge, because I think it will only enhance the enjoyment that I already feel during the holidays!

I would love for you to join me and the hundreds of other women completing the “Good Life” Challenge this holiday season.
