Head on over to the NIFS Blog to check out my post with advice for “How to Dress for Running in Cold Weather”!

Yesterday, I started out my morning just like every other Monday morning.
I taught my cycle core class. Teaching group fitness is something that I always love and enjoy doing, but there are some classes that just feel better than others. The class I taught yesterday really felt awesome! Despite feeling a bit fatigued from Saturday, I felt as though I gave my class a ton of energy, cues to help correct technique, and I felt like I connected with the class. Needless to say, it was an awesome way to start the week.
I also got to wear my super cool new Les Mills tank top that says “When Your Body Screams Tell it to Shut Up!” How’s that for motivation?
Last night, I kind of forgot that Brian and I would be home for dinner together, which meant that we could actually cook something, sit, and eat it at the table. Most nights, we are eating in the car or at the office/school before our next meeting or thing on the to-do list.
Thankfully, I stopped by Sam’s Club on Sunday and picked up some SeaPak Salmon Burgers to have on hand.
These delicious burgers cooked up in less than 15 minutes in the oven and tasted absolutely delicious!
I enjoyed my burger on top of a bed of romaine, broccoli slaw, cucumbers, onions, and celery. Brian enjoyed his on top of a big salad alongside some brown rice.
These burgers are definitely going to be a new “go-to” meal for Brian and me because they tasted absolutely wonderful, cooked up in no time, they are full of wild Alaska salmon, and the ingredient list is relatively short.
Based on this post, here are a few similar ones you should check out.

Love the shirt! I usually enjoy my burgers on top of either salad, or an english muffin 🙂
Yay for not eating a burger “traditionally” 🙂
those look tasty!
Hi Tara! I live/work in Indy as well. I love your blog. One of my favorite go to meals for my boyfriend and I is Chicken (seasoned with italian dressing) and baked asparagus (350 degrees for 15 minutes with pepper, olive oil and parmesan cheese on top). So easy and two ingredients. How do you make that slaw? Looks yummy
Thanks, Jenny!! What an easy and tasty meal!! I love asparagus 🙂 The slaw comes pre-packaged…it is just called “broccoli slaw” rather than regular cole slaw mix. I love adding it to salads for a texture mix-up and some added crunch.
