The holiday season is in full swing at the Rochford’s, and I am so happy about it!
To wrap up my November Breakfast Challenge, I enjoyed a delicious bowl of pumpkin and cranberry oats with egg whites for some protein and a dollop of peanut butter on top. Yum!
I then got to enjoy spending the day with my Mom and Brian just shopping local around Mass Ave and basking in the holiday decorations and cheer that completely filled the air.
After a long day of shopping, we came home to change into our jammies and enjoy the last of our Thanksgiving leftovers.
I had to take a picture of this sandwich, because Brian kept raving about how great it was! On two slices of whole wheat bread I placed turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes with a touch of gravy…gotta get creative when you have limited leftovers 🙂
After dinner, it was time to start holiday decorating!
Mom, Brenna (my sister), and Brian all pitched in to make our apartment cheery and festive.
Ta-da! The tree is decorated and I love it!
Mom also made some hot cocoa for us to enjoy while decorating…I asked for a small cup and my mom was not kidding when she said she would give me a small cup 😉
We also broke out the prosecco to fuel us as we created our very own Christmas centerpieces.
This was the before…
We used mod podge to decorate the glass bowl in the center and make it a little more festive.
And the finished product:
And to end the night, we watched my performance at the Circle of Lights (I’ll post a full recap of that later!) and enjoyed some homemade salted carmel pumpkin cheesecake.
Happy Holidays!
