I seriously feel like a kid on Christmas morning (which is appropriate considering the season…right?).

Today, Brian and I fly home for a two week holiday vacation to Indiana (home) and I could not be more excited.  Seriously, I woke up early (too early to tell you what time!) and just laid there feeling excited.  🙂

Yesterday, Brian and I both finished our finals (woo!).   As soon as my final was complete, I started packing.  Honestly, I kind of dread packing because this is what the process looks like for me…

Can anyone relate?

Luckily, it all fit in the bag!

Brian and I enjoyed a delicious celebratory dinner out at True Food Kitchen and it was amazing!  With very little food in the fridge, it was nice to have  someone else do the cooking last night.

Dinner for me was the Mediterranean Chopped Salad topped with salmon.  Yum!

Brian had the street tacos and gobbled them up before I could take a picture 🙂

We then ran a couple of last minute errands and met up with Marisa and Noah for ice cream at Sweet Action.  They had the most amazing vegan Candy Cane ice cream.  I didn’t want my bowl to end!

Today, I have my final singing gig, I get to spend the day with Anna and then we fly home!

Next time we chat I’ll be in good ole Indiana.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and if you are traveling, travel safe! (I hear it’s supposed to be the busiest travel day of the year!)
