When we serve fruits and vegetables to our girls as a “snack board” they literally can’t get enough! They think it is fun to grab what they want, add a little dip and eat a variety of food at one time.
To make this Healthy Easter Snack Board satisfying and nutritious, I made sure to include dips that contain both protein and fat. Adding protein and fat to a meal (in addition to the fiber from the fruits and vegetables) slows down digestion and can help you and your family feel fuller for longer.
Dip also makes it more likely for children to try vegetables, and it often time increases their intake!

I made this as an appetizer for our family Easter meal. It was easy and everyone loved the attempt. While it didn’t look terrible, mine sort of looked like the the Easter Bunny after a rough night out drinking. LOL. Made for some good laughs and tasty eats! 🙂
