This year, Brian graduates from the Indiana University School of Dentistry and he will be an actual dentist…Dr. Rochford 🙂
I remember sitting with Brian the morning he found out he was accepted into dental school, not really knowing what the future held and not really knowing what Brian was getting himself into. Â We weren’t even engaged at that time, but we both knew we were in it for the long haul.
Brian and I love Indianapolis.
We love living and working downtown, being part of the community and taking advantage of all the city has to offer. Â Indianapolis is constantly growing and changing for the better, so it has been an exciting time to be here.
That being said, a couple of years ago, Brian decided to specialize in his dental practice and wanted to complete an Orthodontic Residency Program. Â We knew there was a possibility committing to something like this could take us out of our beloved Indianapolis, but together we decided we were OK with the change of pace and making a big move.
We weighed the pros and cons of different programs all across the country.
And we are now officially moving to…

DENVER! 🙂
We couldn’t be more excited to begin this new chapter in our lives, and we honestly have no idea what to expect!
Any readers from Denver out there? Â We are planning on making the big move at the end of July/beginning of August. Â I would love to connect, as I will be looking for a job, fitness centers to teach group fitness at, and a group of fun people to hang out with.
Luckily, this little blog of mine is pretty portable so I FULLY plan on keeping up with it as we continue through our little journey.
Thank you for all your love and support as we move into this next chapter of life 🙂

Hey Tara! What great news! You will love it here. Feel free to email me with any questions- I moved here last April after having visited about a dozen times.
One thing I will tell you- getting a job teaching Bodypump is TOUGH. You might have more luck if you’re looking right in Denver. I’m about 25 minutes north of Denver and it’s been really hard to get my own classes (after having 3 per week when I lived in MD!). Best of luck to you!
I will definitely e-mail you, Lauren 🙂 I wonder why it is so tough to get a Bodypump teaching job out there…is it super popular?
There are fewer clubs out here that offer Les Mills classes (compared to where I used to live) and the gym that I currently teach at only has about 8 Bodypump classes a week (as opposed to my old gym, which had almost 20).
Darn! Well good to know that I need to work hard to get a class 🙂
First, LOVE your hair from your college pic… super cute!
Second, congrats on the big move! Sad to see you leave Indy but excited to see your posts from Denver 🙂
Thanks, Amanda! I loved my hair then too…but Brian really likes it long 🙂 Thanks for the well wishes! We will be back to Indy before you know it!
Denver is wonderful! Best of luck with all the big changes 🙂
Thanks so much, Katie!!

Yay! Congrats to you two! And you are so lucky to have a great blogging community. When I moved away from home I met my now friends from blogs. It’s amazing what this community can bring :).

Congrats to Brian!! Moving can be scary, but it can also be a wonderful change, especially when you’re doing it with someone you live. I don’t have any Denver tips to offer, but I’m excited to read about your adventures!
Thank goodness Brian and I are doing it together 🙂
How exciting! Denver is such a fantastic area – we’ve been out and have considered moving there.
Well, if you visit again and need a place to stay you know who to get ahold of!!
