Good Morning!!!
Today is the day that Brian and I leave for our honeymoon to Italy! I can’t believe how fast our first week of marriage has gone, but we are both beyond excited for our Italian adventure that starts today.
Because I know that I will be sitting in a plane for much of the day today and tomorrow, I wanted to make sure to get some sort of movement in before we left this morning.
I ended up picking an at home Crossfit WOD that I found on Pinterest via The Wholesome Heart
The workout didn’t take too long to complete, but definitely got me sweaty and gave me a nice little jolt of alertness.
Now, let’s back track to last night.
Last night, we started the honeymoon fun by going to dinner with Brian’s parents at a delicious and casual restaurant called Bru Burger. The restaurant is walking distance from our house and has such a fun atmosphere. The food is so delicious, it is always packed!
My meal was the house made veggie burger (I seriously have to recreate this!) minus the bun and a delicious yet unpictured side salad of dark greens, gorgonzola cheese, cranberries, and spiced pecans. YUM!
Kate, Brian’s mom (and my mother-in-law!) ordered some of Bru’s Guinness chocolate cake….I was able to sneak a couple of bites and it was absolutely tasty!
We enjoyed a couple of adult beverages and I even tried a beer that I enjoyed…but I can’t remember the name of it!
I typically steer clear of beer and opt for ciders and sweeter wines, but our waitress said that this beer would taste just like a cider, and it did!
Somehow I will have to remember the name it…
Now, Brian and I triple checking our packing list and the items we actually have in our bags to make sure that we don’t forget anything.
I can’t wait to share our honeymoon adventure with all of you as well as the details of our wedding when I return. Until then, I have some fun guest posts lined up 🙂
See you in 10 days!
