Brian and I accomplished a HUGE task this weekend. We organized and arranged our seating for the wedding reception. OUR wedding reception…that will be happening next Friday.
Things have been moving along so smoothly, and Brian and I are knocking things off the list one by one. The seating chart was our last big task to complete…and it’s done! I cannot believe how fast time has gone or how GREAT it feels to have this big task complete.
Overall, the whole seating chart process was not difficult at all! My mom created a room diagram for us to print out for this task. The colorful flags were a helpful tool we used to visualize the various “groups of friends” that we were inviting, and the stickyness of the flags allowed us to easily move people around from table to table before we settled on their final location.
Now that most of the big wedding tasks are done, my main goal is to RELAX, take care of myself, get enough sleep, drink lots of water, and try to stay calm (as calm as possible!).
Because all of the major stuff is done, I was able to try something I have been wanting to try for quite some time…
I made collard green wraps for dinner!
I used Choosing Raw’s tutorial, which walked me through the process step by step. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to create a wrap out of these giant green leaves.
Now that I have the general process down, I want to start experimenting with my fillings.
Don’t they look so vibrant and fresh!? I love when my food looks pretty 🙂
