Description
The combination of kiwi, mango and banana will make you feel like you are sipping this smoothie in warm, sunny weather no matter where you are. I added a hint of turmeric paired with black pepper to enhance absorption of the anti-inflammatory spice, but don’t worry – all you will taste is a sweet, creamy, delicious smoothie.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups rice, hemp, or flax milk (check the ingredient list for any potential ingredients not allowed during the elimination period)
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen mango
1 kiwi, peeled
2 tablespoon hemp seeds
1 tablespoon flax meal
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
Pinch ground black pepper
1 teaspoon maple syrup or agave, optional
Handful of baby kale
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in blender in the order listed. Blend until smooth and creamy.
