My Transition from Dietitian to Interior Designer

I am excited to officially announce that I am taking on interior design clients!

After renovating and designing our homes over the last several years, my friends and family have leaned on me for help to make their homes more beautiful and functional. I love the puzzle of putting a home together to make a space feel energizing. Being able to help other people (not just friends and family) make their spaces feel wonderful so they can use the spaces how they envision is something I can’t wait to do.

I’ve spent most of the last decade working as a recipe developer and Registered Dietitian all while developing a love for old homes and the stories that they share. This journey has pushed me to grow, evolve and find a way to meld my love of food, cooking and entertaining with my love of interior design. I am thrilled to bring all of these passions together in this space online to inspire you in your home to celebrate life’s beautiful moments. These moments are celebrated through seasonal recipes, beautiful home decor, and inspiration for gatherings and events in your own home.

At Tara Rochford Home, making your home live and feel the way you want is paramount. Attention to detail is key and maintaining a home’s character or adding character that it lacks is exactly what I will do. The homes I design have the perfect balance of beauty and function.
