My Holiday Home Tour

This is our family Christmas tree where we display a variety of collected and handmade ornaments. I tied sage green bows on the tree with this ribbon and I used this gold garland from Balsam Hill. I find that adding a few elements like the bows and garland make the tree seem cohesive even when displaying a variety of ornament styles.

I love this cozy little nook! I styled it with white fluffy pillows, a green plaid blanket, and a 12″ wreath from Etsy. I tied the bows with this wired pink ribbon and this wired green ribbon.

In the foyer pictured below, I used a pink velvet ribbon to tie bows onto this Balsam Hill garland. The gold bells tie nicely to the garland. The decor makes the entry so cheerful!

This year, I set up a Christmas village over our fireplace and I’m so pleased with how it turned out. Here are some of the houses I used:

  • Glass and cardboard houses I’ve purchased at Target over the past few years
  • Pottery Barn Kids light up house with snowman
  • Anthropologie Tinsel Tea Room light up house
  • Lenox light up Ice Cream Shop
  • Lenox mistletoe park light up house
  • Bottle brush trees I’ve collected from over the years

Over our kitchen sink I added three 12″ faux cedar wreaths with bows tied with this wired pink ribbon as well as a wreath above the range and I love how festive it makes the kitchen feel!

On our wet bar shelves, I added little houses, bottle brush trees and nutcrackers that I found in the Target finds section of Target! I also printed a snowman picture from Etsy to make things extra festive.

I hope this gave you some inspiration for your holiday decorating this season! Tag me @tararochford to show me how you decorated your home for the holiday season.
