Last night when it came time for dinner, I was hungry but I wasn’t really craving anything. My parent’s were going out to eat so they weren’t preparing anything and I was left to fend for myself 😉
I stood in front of the pantry and fridge for what seemed like hours before finally deciding on a meal that was totally random and honestly kind of weird.
Although dinner was a strange combo, it was completely tasty and totally worth the weird factor.
I steamed cauliflower, spinach, and green peppers. I then topped this medley with some cottage cheese, marinara sauce, chopped olives, a tad bit of hot sauce, and garlic salt. Sounds strange but it was good!!
I then spent the rest of the night completing this month’s homework for the Blog Improvement Challenge 2013. I loved how this first month really got me focused on what my blogging is truly about and even had me write down my list of long term goals. I made this list of goals my laptop’s wallpaper, so that I look at it every day as a little reminder and motivation.
It was a pretty uneventful night other than that, but all in all I would say that it was very productive.

Breakfast
This morning’s breakfast really doesn’t look much different than the past two days’ breakfasts.
But there is one slight difference. I added almond extract to this batch rather than vanilla extract, and I have to say…it probably wasn’t worth the switch. Oh well! I still ate the entire bowl of oats, and now I know for next time NOT to use almond extract. It just didn’t do anything for me.
Workout
This morning, mom and I are headed to a double header of Body Pump and Bodycombat. I am so excited for pump because we get to do the new release which I am still learning because my gym hasn’t launched yet.
I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!
