Hey and Happy Friday! I hope the weekend has something fun in store for ya!
I can’t start the weekend quite yet because of a test I need to complete tonight, some job shadowing during the day, and a few other assignments I need to hit the submit button on before officially calling it the weekend. After that, Brian and I are skiing tomorrow. The weather here in Denver has been warm and very sunny, so it’s kind of hard for me to believe that just 2 hours away we will be in a winter wonderland. Hoping for good skiing, though!! 🙂
OK, let’s get right into Five Things Friday!
I simply made a concentrated version of the tea and then cooked my oats in that instead of water. It was so delicious and added a nice spice and sweetness to the oats without any added sugar.
I feel like I have these at LEAST once a week. Topped with peanut butter of course 😉
OK, I may have a new favorite Kombucha brand!! Rowdy mermaid is local to Boulder, CO and the flavors (while they may look a bit intimidating if you are just reading the label) are so smooth and delicious with no vinegary flavor. Brian and his mom even enjoyed it!
This soup was kind of a no-recipe-throw-it-in-the-crock-pot soup 🙂 It has kale, chicken, parsnips, rutabaga, turnip, thyme, and lots of turmeric. It turned out really tasty, so I’m thinking I need to make it again to document how I made it.
I know I mentioned this tasty meal earlier this week, but in my books it was so good it was worth mentioning again!
It’s like a circuit boot camp class, so it VERY different from anything that they currently offer. The class was totally up my ally and a great workout! I can’t wait to go back again so I can write up a full review for all of you.
Alright, friends! That’s all I have for today. Have a stellar weekend and I’ll catch ya next week!

YES! It’s so yummy!
I hope you have a great weekend! The weather has been gorgeous in Florida too, I’m thinking a beach day is in my future 🙂
Thanks, Sarah! Beach in February!? Sounds amazing!
